Teaching Staff

Our highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers are the key to our success! Many of our teachers have advanced degrees in Early Childhood or Elementary Education and/or hold their credentials in Early Childhood Education. We have a very low turn over rate in our teaching staff with many of our teachers having been on staff since our first years in business.

The teacher’s role is to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Our teachers aim to foster each child’s curiosity and desire to learn.  Children are given many opportunities to learn through active interactions within their environment. Language development, math readiness skills, science and guided appropriate social play are all aspects of our curriculum. Each child’s development is encouraged in the areas of problem solving, critical thinking skills, independence, confidence, self-esteem and respect for themselves and others.

Our teachers are required to complete continuing education hours annually bringing new and exciting ideas back to the classroom to further engage and educate our children. Teacher training is held on and off site in the areas of curriculum, growth and development, health and safety.

All teachers and administrators are required to be CPR certified. Many of our staff members are also First Aid certified.

All staff members are required to submit background checks.
